Christmas '97

On Top of the World '97

...............

In 1997, Bill "forced" Carrie to go on her first "real"
vacation - 3.5 weeks in Hawaii.  They spent a week in
Honolulu, at which point she stated she was relaxed
more than she'd ever been.  Bill just shook my head
sadly - Honolulu does NOT relax people.  Sure enough,
after a week in Maui, she realized what being truly
relaxed means....of course, by the time they left,
she was a complete veg :-)

She arrived in Honolulu a novice diver, and left
Maui 3.5 weeks later as a PADI Advanced diver,
and a FAR better diver than her Advanced Instructor.
Here, once again, are some of the better memories of that trip.
