Rocky Mountain Loop 2005

Rocky Mountain Loop 2005

For several years, Carrie had been pressuring Bill about visiting
her friends and relatives scattered throughout the Rocky Mountain
states.  In 2005, Bill put together a trip that would not only make
Carrie's wish come true, but allow more time on the bike. Starting in
Half Moon Bay, the loop went northeast to Carlin, NV, then to Salt Lake
City, UT, southeast to Glenwood Springs, CO, east to Denver, south to
Albuequerque, NM, southwest to Silver City, NM, west to Phoenix, AZ,
west to Dana Point, CA, and finally north back to HMB (whew!)

Nine days and 3,300 miles later, they climbed off the bike...both
glad the trip was over, but looking forward to the next one.

If you're going to advertise that you're a white power jack-ass - you really should learn to spell.  :-)

Heading into New Mexico - very red state, from the looks of it.

In the desert, you can't remember your name, but apparently, you can receive plans to build space/time ships.

This VLA field is just about ready for pickin'.

Just outside the VLA fields.

The infamous fog of HMB

Quite a balancing act!

Always a welcome site.

After traveling in 90-115 degree days, not a bad site, for once.
